My Sunday So Far

It's raining again. This happens every year - the kids finish school for the summer vacation & the weather takes a turn for he worst. The temparatures have really dropped too. We were having really warm weather a few weeks back - up to 30°C. For the last week or so, we've been having highs of 17°C. What is going on? It said in the news were going to be having the hottest weather ever on Tuesday up to 93°F... I do not see that happening, at all.

I'm spent most of the day here. Watching TV & drinking coffee whilst catching up on some blogs I've missed! Oh & yes, that is Baseball in the background, lol. Today, we phoned up Sky Tv & took the movies package off & added the sports on (we now have ESPN & Extreme Sports too). Dave can now watch wrestling without having to steal my laptop to download it & I can watch all the sports I've missed! I used to love watching the American baseball & football when I was younger - & Dave will have to put up with my screaming when the Rugby league is on...

Tatty is not impressed with the rain outside & is also spending his day on the couch with me :)

We deserve a relaxing day today after yesterday... We had a huge problem with an outside drain overflowing. I woke up to my patio being covered in dirty toilet water. Lovely. Dave & my brother luckily managed to unblock it in the end (which took a few hours). We also found out that Melanie (my brother's ex-wife, who still lives in a chalet on my mum & dad's land until she finds her own place back in Manchester) has been put on a ventilator in hospital. She has epilepsy and for the last 9 days has been in hospital - but the fits have gotten worse & moved from her tummy to her face, we've been told if it gets worse she'll be going to Walton Hospital in Liverpool. So we're all hoping she gets better soon too!
