Lastnight...

I didn't get to sleep until 2am - then I woke up again at 4am, went downstairs to play my Xbox for an hour before going back to bed. The reason? We were having Gail Force 10 winds which were around 87mph. This is what I woke up to:

 

A broken slate or two, you can't really tell the size of this here - but this slate is around 2ft. I wouldn't have liked to be standing outside when this fell from the roof. We're going to have to check later to see where it came from!

 

Ignore my weeds, lol. One of my plant pots fell from the top step on the right (my hanging baskets managed to survive). Oh & that's a random bottle of sun screen from somewhere...

One of my chairs from the patio area had blown right into the garden, lol.

 

& there's my green bin (In the UK we have green bins for grass/hedge cuttings & weeds etc). It had blown all the way there from the front of the house! Those blue chairs were also everywhere before I picked them up. It was funny because I was lying in bed, hearing loud noises & asking Dave, what do you think that is!? To which he'd just reply 'It's probably the lids of the black & green bins flapping up & down'. 

Tats was also completely terrified. He has his bed on the floor on my side of the bed & since chihuahuas like to 'burrow' I'll throw his blanket over him. Lastnight, he was just sitting up in bed looking towards the window then trying to get up on the bed. We finally let him up & then he just kept sitting up on the bed shaking & trying to squeeze himself between me & Dave, which you can imagine got annoying after half an hour, lol. He is completely fiiiine this morning though - sunbathing by the french doors - I'm the one walking round half asleep trying to tidy everywhere up, grrrrrrr.

The plan for tonight I think is that Dave's parents & brother are coming around for dinner, which should be nice =)
