These are some pictures I am uploading here for someone (that isn't on Facebook to see)! They're from the other day when we decided to go on another walk, which was meant to last 10 minutes. We were gone for nearly an hour & a half, lol.
We found a really great pebble beach (that Tats found it hard to walk on, lol) & sat there for half an hour just throwing the pebbles into the sea... then we went to the Royal Charter Memorial. The Royal Charter was a ship that had sailed from Melbourne & was on the way to Liverpool when it was hit by Hurricane winds in 1859 - 400 people died, even though the ship itself was close to the shore, the winds were against them. Charles Dickens even visited Anglesey to visit this spot & stayed in a nearby Pub.
Just thought I'd give you all a small history lesson there :) To read more on the Royal Charter just click here. Going to sound geeky here, but I've always been interested in local history (which Anglesey & Wales/UK has a lot of) & shipwrecks around the area I live!
Oh & did I mention we have been having glorious weather the last few days! A reminder of what is (hopefully) to come this summer :)
