Dave's Birthday Plans

So, Dave's birthday isn't until May 13th, but we have already planned what we're doing for it. Dave's even already planned what he's getting me on my birthday (in September) apparantly, lol.

We noticed that Travelodge have their sale on at the minute, £19 a night rooms if you book in advance. We looked around for places in the UK that we haven't visited yet. We were actually disussing the other night that when we move away in the future - we want to make sure we've visited all of these 'tourist hotspots' in the UK & all of it's great cities. We decided that Edinburgh, Scotland was definitely one of these places.

When Dave was a small child, he lived up in Scotland for a short time & he actually has some memories of a few places he visited. He's always said that he'd love to go back there & as for me, I've always wanted to visit there too... I'm a little worried I won't understand the accent, but as long as Dave does the communicating we'll be fiiine. So as a present from Dave's parents, we've booked to go in May for 3 nights. The train ride is going to be long but fun too. I love having something to look forward to!

Oh & in other news: Dave's website 'BespokeBioinformatics.com' is finally up & running. I said this the other day, but he wasn't quite finished with it. There are still a few things that need to be changed (GoDaddy banner) & he's still adding some new stuff, but he has actually written the website from scratch using html & css (no templates) which is pretty impressive! :)
