XBOX 360!

As you all know I've been after an XBOX 360 for a while & today I finally picked one up!

The bottom end model (Arcade) is priced at £140 & doesn't come with much at all. So, I turned to Ebay & the other day, clicked on 'nearest first' & there was one right in my town! I asked the guy how much he was hoping to sell it for, to see if I could just 'buy it now'. He said he was looking for at least £160 - the reserve price. I did have money in my bank account but I wanted to only use what was in my Paypal account which was £132.97, lol.

I kept a close eye on it & bid on it anyway... then put my highest bid at £132.97... I didn't think I'd win, because this was a 60GB model, with 2 wireless controllers, 8 games, headset & in excellent condition. Some very similar packages were going for a lot more with less (& crappier) games.

Then I actually won it for £126.10! An absolute bargain according to some friends of mine that already own XBOX's. My brother said I could sell some of the games (there's 3 I wouldn't mind selling) & make most of the money back, lol. The games I love are the Call of Duty games, especially Modern Warfare 2 which was included! My brother gave me his wireless adapter to buy my Xbox Live Gold account, so now I'm all ready to start gaming! If anyone reading this has an XBOX, you'll have to let me know your gamertags! :)

In other news: Dave decided he wanted to go out to dinner lastnight, so we went to my favourite restaurant, Jade Village for my favourite kind of food, chinese... & Dave's website - Bespoke Bioinformatics - is going Live some time today (Sunday 28th). Yes I am blogging past midnight. I'm wide awake & waiting for him to finish watching TNA wrestling - which is growing on me.
