A Sunny Day's Walk :)

Today we decided in the afternoon to go for a walk since the weather was so nice. It's weird because yesterday was such a cold, wet day & today was the oppasite. It was actually really warm outside today & we actually got 'too hot' on the walk & had to take our coats off - That's weird British weather for you, -3'C the other night & sooo warm today! Anyway here are a few photos...

This was Tats when we set off for the walk. We'd left his lead in my brother's house & I had no rope/string, so I had to tie some kind of wire to him as a lead, lol.

The street below is right oppasite our house, we've always drove down this road, parked up at the beach car park then walked along it - we never realised just how close the beach is... by foot it only takes literally 5 minutes. It's just walking back UP the hill that's bad!

Dave & I were laughing at Tats' shadow... it looked like he was very fat, lol. The picture below is some random woman that he was barking at.

That was Tats, ruining my photo of some driftwood. He was just about to take a wee on it, lol.

We went to my brother & his girlfriend Catherine's house & we picked up Tats' lead & stayed to talk for a while. Catherine also gave us some (some = a lot) of Homemade carrot cake which if you're reading this Cath, is absolutely delicious! Then we carried on with our walk... we decided instead of walking back across the beach, we'd take the countryside route up to my mum's house. Below: Looking back over Red Wharf Bay. When I was little I always used to think a certain part across the bay (Pentraeth Forest - you can't see it that well in this picture) 'looked like Canada' - I told Catherine this (who's Canadian) & she was just laughing saying 'Yeah if the trees were much, much taller'...

Mr Moon & some very muddy feet :P

Random Sheep picture, the one below is me trying to get the lambs, they were so cute.

A very, very muddy field, lol. This is where some local farmers (Tebbots) grow their potatoes. In the spring/summer they have a stall on the side of the road selling them & they sell so fast (especially to tourists). When I was a kid I actually used to sneak into this field with my nephew & steal some, lol. I told Dave, imagine having brand new shoes & having to avoid getting them dirty, walking through this field!

We went up to see my mum & dad (my dad wasn't too well today, he gets really bad migranes from time to time), but he was in good spirits. My mum had bought me a cute new watch - I actually wanted one too because mine broke a few weeks back :(

After we had some food there we walked back down to our house & we've just had some yummy mid-week roast dinner. I am ready for a movie & bed! Did I mention that we watched The Lovely Bones the other night. Thank God I didn't pay for this movie. It was beautiful to look at, but it wasn't great story-wise. Apparantly it leaves a LOT out of the book... & I was extremely dissapointed with the way the paedophile/murderer actually dies in the end - epic fail. I'd recommend watching it, but don't expect too much story, just great visuals.
